Atmos Ruva Review
Kit & Accessories
- Atmos Ruva
- Cleaning brush + loading tool
- USB charging cable
Compatibility: The Atmos Ruva is compatible with dry herb only.
Design & Features
General Design: The Ruva has a very distinctive look because of the rubberized finish and the patterns cut into it. Both are responsible for the high heat resistance of the Ruva, which means that it remains comfortable to hold regardless of the temp setting, or how long your session lasts. So, the design is practical in addition to having an interesting look.
The Ruva has orange buttons that contrast nicely against the black color of the rest of the vaporizer. You get an additional splash of color with the large OLED screen that uses colorful graphics to keep you apprised of the temperature and battery life. Rounding out the feature list is haptic feedback, so you know when heating is complete without even having to look at the device.
Portability: The Atmos Ruva is just 4.4 inches tall, so it easily fits in your hand and in your pocket. The rounded shape and slim profile help too, though you might want to be careful around the magnetic mouthpiece. The magnets are strong, but if you pull on the mouthpiece while the rest of the vaporizer is wedged in tightly, it could detach and cause a spill. So, if you like wearing skinny jeans, good for you, just be careful.
Build Quality: That rubberized finish means that the Ruva is pretty durable too, but you don’t want to drop it. That’s because it has a magnetically attached mouthpiece, which is convenient when you’re ready to load. However, it could snap off and spill your herb everywhere if it experiences a sharp impact. It’s pretty secure otherwise, as long as you’re careful.
Cleaning and Maintenance
If you need to clean the body of the Ruva, you can use a damp cloth to wipe it down. For the herb chamber, use the included cleaning brush to wipe away any cashed herb that’s left behind. To clean it more thoroughly, use a cotton swab or q-tip soaked in isopropyl alcohol to wipe it down. Make sure it’s completely dry before you use it again.
How to use

Performance & Vapor Quality
Vaporizer Performance: The Ruva only takes about thirty seconds to heat up, which is on the fast side for dry herb vaporizers. As I mentioned earlier, it doesn’t get hot to the touch because of the rubberized finish. The mouthpiece does get hot though, because the chamber is right beneath it. And since the mouthpiece is made of steel, it doesn’t have any heat dispersing qualities.
Vapor Quality: The flavor from the Ruva is decent, but not that great. It’s not completely disappointing, but I wasn’t too impressed either. The airflow is also a little higher than I would like, I had to inhale for a few seconds before I started tasting the vapor.
The close proximity of the mouthpiece to the heating chamber also means that the vapor can get harsh at higher temperatures. Temperatures in the 360°F to 380°F range seem to be the sweet spot for nice-tasting vapor that doesn’t get too hot and uncomfortable.
Battery Performance: The Ruva has a powerful 1800 mAh battery that doesn’t last as long as larger batteries in similar sized vapes. Even worse is that it takes about three hours to charge, so enjoy your vaping time while it lasts.
style that makes it more suitable for concerts, festivals, or the club rather than the great outdoors. The Miqro is a very sleek looking, tiny vape with some cool features, though it can get hot to the touch after a short amount of use.
The Atmos Ruva is an interesting looking dry herb vaporizer that doesn’t perform as nicely as it looks. Find out why in the review.
