Ollama84 (talk) 09:34, 2 July 2017 (UTC) Funny, I don't remember "a single person shouting very loudly" being the definition of everyone. If nothing else, HFY is still a thing on /tg/ and as long as it remains so then this page is still relevant to the wiki. Whatever feeling you might have about it are irrelevant. --Newerfag (talk) 03:14, 3 July 2017 (UTC) Please refer to most users in this discussion.
People are pussyfooting around the issue saying "oh we should tone it down etc", but it's very obvious that nobody wants it here. It doesn't matter if it's relevant (I don't think it is; I haven't seen HFY in a while), it's cancerous, and needs to go. Ollama84 (talk) 04:45, 3 July 2017 (UTC) Listen, there's a huge overlap between HFY and /pol/. It gives them a position to spout their hate speech and warrior mentality to other boards. I'd like if we killed this cancer at its source and remove /pol/, but we both know that isn't happening. The least we could do is ban HFY from /tg/ to destroy a major rallying point for right wingers on /tg/. Ollama84 (talk) 04:50, 3 July 2017 (UTC) Good luck with that, you'll need it.
But don't expect any support with it, here or anywhere else. Until then, do what the guy two posts down suggests and stop looking at the page if it offends you so much. Like I said, nobody cares how cancerous it feels to you. --Newerfag (talk) 14:24, 3 July 2017 (UTC) Funny, but I don't remember "a single person (and one anon, apparently) shouting very loudly" being the definition of 'most users in this discussion' either. Do people even know the meaning of the word "irony" nowadays, or what? How about you just, you know, stop looking at the page and we all go on with our lives? Because I can assure you, until one of the admins blanks the page themselves, I'm one of many who will revert your childish attempts to vandalize or blank the page. All I get from this page is WORDS WORDS WORDS WORDS. Get rid of the Laundry list of examples and condense down the first part to something that's clear and concise. My gripe with the "other perspective" is that it focuses mainly on meta aspects, and the way I see it is that the gripes are with shitty fanfiction which is something that is present just as much in 40k and D&D as it is in anything else. Can I just say as someone who only rarely visits or edits this wiki, I often come back just to read this page. I appreciate it for what it is and don't take it seriously. It certainly doesn't reflect the way I'd react if a bunch of aliens actually showed up in real life. 18.104.22.168 10:14, 29 July 2017 (UTC) Honestly wasn't the whole point of this page to have a laugh and massively over-exaggerate HFY? Its like W40k, black humour style shit overly violent because that's funny. The other perspective is just a wall of whiny bullshit Quiggsy (talk) 00:37, 23 April 2018 (UTC) This discussion DOESN'T need to happen. The idea of deleting it because some retarded SJW is whining about is feelings being hurt is totally faggotrocius. If i wanted to destroy "major rallying point for right wingers" would have joined bloody antifa. I wouldn't care less about stupid politics, i just want to read funny crap. --Phas (talk) 12:56, 23 April 2018 (UTC) The discussion was resolved long before you lot showed up to beat a dead horse. --Newerfag (talk) 13:49, 23 April 2018 (UTC) Isn't there a thing on the main page saying "no egoboos?" With how you behave it would be a good idea to keep that in mind.
"The discussion was resolved" or "the adults are talking"?
--Phas (talk) 14:58, 23 April 2018 (UTC) And I suggest you look at when the last edits made to this page were made. If you wanted to join that debate, you've long since missed your chance.--Newerfag (talk) 17:23, 23 April 2018 (UTC) Is it tough? I can only assume nobody cared enough to take the tags off when it was over.
