The music sounded so vivid and I could pick out individual instruments or sounds and focus on them and hear them more clearly than ever. I almost wanted to dance but as it was getting late decided to stay in the comfort of my bed. After hours pondering things and getting lost in my head and in the kaleidoscopic visuals I drifted off to sleep. Day 2: The next day after dosing it seemed to take much longer for me to come up.
Usually it takes me about an hour to an hour and a half to feel the trip, but this day it took over 2 hours for it to kick in. I spent the very beginning of my trip in the car as my girlfriend drove us to a state park in the area. Although the views were beautiful they were only slightly more moving than they are when I’m sober or just smoking marijuana. The ripples in the water created patterns as I watched the surface of the lake. They were no where near as intense as the patterns the previous day and as soon as I would try to focus on a pattern I was seeing it would disappear again. It was as if I was tripping just enough for things to trick my mind, but not enough for my brain to rationalize and adjust back to normal. We walked through the woods and saw a crazy raccoon running around through the woods. We finally decided to walk back as the park was beginning to close and the Park Police were patrolling all the parking lots to make sure no one was left in the woods.
As we were leaving we stopped on a dock in the water so my girlfriend could take a picture of the sky over the lake. While standing on the dock I felt like the rocking of the water was throwing off my equilibrium . We finished walking to the car and before leaving we decided to swing on the swings in the kids playground before we left. I think this further threw off my balance because as we drove out of the park I was starting to feel sick to my stomach. From the state park we went to a local bar to meet up with a friend and I sat drinking a RedBull while they threw back a few drinks. Between already feeling off and the fact that the floors of the bar are warped to hell I felt more and more sick being in the bar. The glow of all the neon lights was more intense than usual and was distracting at some points. I played a game of pool with our friend and was totally thrown off. I was having trouble aiming and the patterns I started seeing in the felt of the table top were amusing. These patterns were probably the most visual this days trip got. After playing pool for a bit I was feeling more normalized so we stayed out a little longer. Shortly after I sat down my back started hurting though. It was like a knot was being tightened between my shoulder blades and the tighter it got the more the pain radiated from that spot and out towards my sides, lower back, and neck. Eventually it reached the bottom of the back of my skull and this was unbearable. We had to leave and I needed to lie down in the car. Lying down and listening to music on the way home helped with the pain and once I got there I toked a small bit of weed and was feeling much better and more stable. This did intensify the trip a little but was not enough to make the any visuals more apparent. I relaxed and watched the windows morph and move again as they did the night before. The trip lasted less time and was over all less intense the second day. In the future I don’t think I will be dosing 2 days or even twice in the same week because of this. A week sometimes even seems too short and the intensity is still lessened. I am almost out of my tabs and have about 1 good trip left.
Hopefully I will be able to come across some more psychedelics soon. I’d definitely like to get my hands on some more acid and hope to get some shrooms soon as well.
